Abstract
The purposes of this study are to know: (1) whether there is a significant influence of Verbal Reinforcement on students’ learning motivation of PAI study at the State Senior High Schools in the District of Tampan; (2) whether there is a significant influence of Nonverbal Reinforcement on student learning motivation on PAI study at the State Senior High Schools in the District of Tampan. (3) whether there is significant influence between Verbal and Nonverbal Reinforcement simultaneously on students’ learning motivation of PAI study at the State Senior High Schools in the District of Tampan. The type of this research is Field Research in which researcher directly jumps into the field to find data. The number of samples is 94 students. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Hypotheses were tested with Simple Regression and Multiple Regression Techniques by using SPSS for windows release 16. The results showed that (1) From the simple regression analysis it was seen that the F value is 260.420 and 5% of FTabel was 3.94 from the residual degree (92). The value of Fregresi > 5% of FTabel (260.420> 3.94) then the hypothesis is accepted with the conclusion that verbal reinforcement has a significant effect on students’ learning motivation of PAI study at the State Senior High Schools in the District of Tampan. (2) From the simple regression analysis, it can be seen that the value of FRegresi is 418.110 and 5% of FTabel is 3.94 from degrees of residual free (92). The value of FRegresi > 5% of FTabel (418.110> 3.94), so the hypothesis is accepted with the conclusion that nonverbal reinforcement has a significant effect on students’ learning motivation of PAI study at the State Senior High Schools in the District of Tampan. (3) From multiple regression analysis, it is seen that the value of FRegresi is 210.460 and FTabel of 5% are 3.10 from degrees of residual free (91). The value of FRegresi > FTabel of 5% (210.460> 3.10) then the hypothesis is accepted with the conclusion that verbal and nonverbal reinforcement together have a significant effect on students’ learning motivation of PAI study at the State Senior High Schools in the District of Tampan.
