Abstract

HUBUNGAN ANTARA ACADADEMIC SELF-EFFICACY DENGAN SUBJECTIVE WELL-BEING PADA MAHASISWA FAKULTAS PSIKOLOGI UNIVERSITAS ISLAM NEGERI SULTAN SYARIF KASIM RIAU ABSTRAK Mathori Almubarok Wahyu Sukron State Islamic University of Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau e-mail: mathorialmubarok.ws@gmail.com This research aims to examine the relationship between academic self-efficacy and subjective well-being among students at the Faculty of Psychology, Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau University. The research design employed is quantitative correlational. The study includes 236 participants selected through proportional stratified random sampling. A Likert scale model was utilized as the research instrument. Subjective well-being was measured using the modified versions of the Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS) and the Scale Of Positive and Negative Experience (SPANE) based on Diener et al. (1985). Meanwhile, academic self-efficacy was assessed using the Academic Self-Efficacy Scale modified from Zajacova et al. (2005). Data were analyzed using the product moment correlation analysis technique. The correlation analysis yielded a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.590, with significance (p) <0.000, indicating a significant relationship between academic self-efficacy and subjective well-being among students at the Faculty of Psychology, University Of Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau University.
