Abstract
ABSTRACT Etha Farhana Putri, (2022): Perception toward Online English Learning During Covid – 19 Pandemic by the Fifth Semester Students toward English Education Department of Uin Suska Riau The main focus of this research was to find out whether there was a significant Perception toward Online English Learning During Covid – 19 Pandemic by the Fifth Semester Students toward English Education Department of Uin Suska Riau. The researcher using quantitative research, that is : What are the students’ perceptions of online learning English during the covid-19 pandemic at 5th semester English education of UIN SUSKA RIAU ?” This research analyzed the students perception in English Leaning during Covid-19. This research was descriptive research. The subject of this research was 5th semester English education of UIN SUSKA RIAU . The researcher selected 53 students of the population by using cluster random sampling technique. In collecting the data, the researcher used questionare. The technique of analyzing data was using percentage formula and it was eased by using Microsoft Excel 2010 program. Based on the data analysis, the researcher conclude that the level of students’ Students’ perceptions of online learning English during the covid-19 in English at 5th semester English education of UIN SUSKA RIAU is Positif level. And then, the dimension of teaching material is the most dimension that is the dominant dimension in students’ perceptions of online learning English during the covi
