Abstract
The researcher’s conducted a research State Senior High School 2 The formulation the problems, and What are the difficulties in reading comprehension of report text, and What factors cause the difficulties in reading comprehesnion of report text. The design of this reseach study was descriptive research. The total number of population was 288 students. The researcher used purposive sampling by taking only one class as sample 36. To analyze the data, the researcher used questionnaire and test. The test was conducted to find difficulties in reading comprehension on report text by using SPSS 16. Based on data analysis, the researcher found that the highest rate of all difficulties was caused difficulties in reading comprehension on report text that caused difficulties about vocabularies which the total number of difficulties was 55 or (38,15)% and factors caused by learners’ background which the total number difficulties was 131 or (53,68)% Keywords: Analysis, Reading Comprehension, Report Text.
