Abstract

ABSTRACT Azzahra Elsyifa, (2025): The Implementation of Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Wustha Program in Strengthening Student Quranic Memorization at State Junior High School 3 Minas, Siak Regency This research aimed at describing the implementation of Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Wustha program in strengthening student Quranic memorization at State Junior High School 3 Minas, Siak Regency and the supporting and obstructing factors. Qualitative descriptive approach was used in this research. The primary informants were two Quranic memorization teachers and four students, while the headmaster served as a supporting informant. Observation, interview, and documentation were the techniques of collecting data. The data were analyzed by using data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusion. The research findings showed that the implementation of Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Wustha program in strengthening student Quranic memorization comprised three main stages: first, the planning phase included setting goals, defining implementation standards, allocating budgets and resources, scheduling, setting memorization targets, and selecting participants. Second, the implementation phase generally adhered to the standard operating procedures established by the school. Talaqqi and muraja'ah methods were used in the implementation process, with a system of memorization submissions tracked through memorization cards. Third, evaluation was conducted periodically in the form of oral examinations. The supporting factors were government support, teacher support, support for tadarus Al-Quran and muhadharah programs, safe physical school environment free from external distractions, and the graduation activities of tahfiz Al-Quran at the end of the period. The obstructing factors included the lack of student internal motivation, lack of parental support at home, the characteristics of schools that were not based on religion, the peer environment at school, limited learning time, and the divided focus of students.
