Abstract

The objective of this research was to increase students’ learning results of state elementary school 001 Teratak district of Rumbio Jaya the regency of Kampar through exchanging the ideas strategy on the object and its’ character subject. The subject of this research was the teachers and fifth year students of state elementary school 001 Teratak on school year 2011-2012 whereas the object was the increasing of students’ learning results in the subject of science on object and its’ character subject through exchanging the ideas strategy at the fifth year students of state elementary school 001 Teratak district of Rumbio Jaya the regency of Kampar. This research was designed as classroom action research with four stages namely: the planning, the implementation of action, observation, and reflection. The implementation of this research was done into two cycles. On cycle consisted of one meetings, its means this research was done on four meetings and one prior action and one syllabus. The data was collected on every observation on every cycle and the data are analyzed descriptively using percentage technique to investigate on the activities. Based on data analysis the writer concluded that learning results of science increased on the object and its’ character material at the fifth year students of state elementary school 001 Teratak, which shown on the increasing of students’ learning results on daily test of previous subjects before using exchanging the ideas strategy on classical 50%, and after using exchanging the ideas strategy on the first cycle it was 75%, was on the second cycle it was 87.50%.
