Abstract
The purpose of this research is to know whether there is or not the increasing of memorizing short surah at fourth class of state elementary school 006 PasirSialang,after following the study using judicial review learning strategy. The formulation of this research the judicial review learning strategy able to increase the motivation of memorizing short surah for fourth class of state elementary school 006 PasirSialang district of BangkinangSeberang. The subject of this research is students of class four as much as 34 persons, consists of 16 male students and 18 female students. While the object of this research students’ motivation in memorizing short surah by using judicial review learning strategy. To make this research running well without any obstacles disturbed it, the writer arranged some steps they are: 1) preparation, 2) implementation, 3) observation, 4) reflection. Based on the result of the research form analysis of action, it can be concluded that through judicial review leaning strategy can increase students’ motivation in memorizing short surah, this can be seen from observation where all motivation indicator of students’ memorizing before the action only 44,11%, while after doing the action on first cycle 60,29%, and on second cycle reached 70.07% and on the third cycle is 85,29%. So students’ motivation in memorizing can be categorized good because it is between 76%-100%.
