Abstract

This research consisted of two variables, social interaction material (independent variable or X variable) and social interaction of students (dependent variable or Y variable). The objective of this research was to find out the effect of interaction material learning toward social interaction of students in sociology learning at the tenth year students at state senior high school 1 Rengat Barat. The formulation of this research was, is there significant effect of social interaction material learning toward social interaction of students in sociology learning at the tenth year students of state senior high school1 Rengat Barat the regency of Indragiri Hulu. The subject of this research was tenth year students and the object was interaction material toward social interaction of students in sociology learning at the tenth year students of state senior high school1 Rengat Barat. The population in this research was 196 students and then the writer took 98 students or 50%. The data in this research was collected using observation, questionnaires and documentation. The data was analyzed using simple linear regress. Based on the results and analysis that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected on significant level of 5% (0.202) and 1% (0.263) = 0.478. the analysis could be concluded that there was significant effect between interaction material toward social interaction of students in sociology learning at the tenth year students of state senior high school 1 Rengat Barat the regency of Indragiri Hulu. Effect of 22,9%.
