Abstract

The Informatics Engineering Study Program website at the Sultan Syarif Kasim State Islamic University of Riau (UIN SUSKA Riau) needs improvements in the user interface and improvements to several features to improve accessibility and user experience. Improvements are needed in lecturer profile content, information on course requirements, practical work (KP), final assignments (TA), lecture schedules, payment information, curriculum, as well as the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section. This research aims to analyze the needs of users of the UIN SUSKA Riau Informatics Engineering website and design new relevant features. The main problem often faced by students is the lack of information available on this website. The method used in this research is Design Thinking for the redesign process. The research results show that this website redesign provides users with a better experience in accessing the necessary information, using the System Usability Scale (SUS). This redesign is expected to increase the number of website users and improve the quality of educational services in the field of Informatics. The conclusion of this research shows that 84% of users feel comfortable with the changes made. Keywords: Informatics Engineering Study Program website, Redesign, UI/UX, Design Thinking
