Abstract

ABSTRACT This thesis is entitled: "The Meaning of Ahsan Taqwim in the Al-Qur'an and Its Correlation with the Best Looking Concept on Social Media". Ahsan taqwim are humans who are given potential in themselves so that they are able to develop their identity in doing the same as other humans, especially in education. While Best Looking is a term that comes from English. Linguistically, the meaning of Best looking is good looking. The formulation of the problem in this study is the interpretation of verses related to the meaning of Ahsan Taqwim and its correlation with the concept of Best Looking. This study uses library research with a qualitative approach and descriptive analysis method. The interpretation method used is the mawdhu'i interpretation method with primary and secondary data sources coming from library sources. The results of this study are first, ahsan taqwim is a human being created in a balanced, upright posture, beautiful shape, the best creature, both physically and mentally. And Best Looking can be interpreted to look attractive, good, good. Second, the correlation between the meaning of Ahsan Taqwim and the concept of Best Looking is to show that based on the verse about Ahsan Taqwim and the concept of Best Looking it has the same meaning, namely about human perfection, but to reach the level of Ahsan Taqwim and Best Looking it has characteristics that are not only seen in terms of physical or outward appearance,but also includes a person's behavior or attitude.
