Abstract

ABSTRACT Juli Sri Mala Dewi Siregar (2022) : The Contribution of Lecturers Reinforcement and Independent Learning to Writing Ability at Language Development Centre of IAIN This research was aimed to examine the contribution of lecturers reinforcement and independent learning to DevelopmentCentreofIAINPadangsidimpuan.Thedatawerecollectedthrough lecturers reinforcement questionnair e, independent learning questionnaire and writing ability test. This research was contributional research design using quantitative method. The subject of the research was the students of Islamic Business Economics Faculty (FEBI) at Language Development Centre of IAIN Padangsidimpuaninacademicyear2021/2022consisting16classes.Theresearch sample was taken by using random sampling technique from 16 classes which eachclasshaddifferentnumberofstudents.Thetotalpopulationwas430students and the total sample was 43 students. Simple linear regression and multiple regression formula were used to analyze the data. The research findings showed thatfirst,thattherewas asignificanti contributionofreinforcementand writing ability with score (0.00 < 0.05). Second, there was a significant contributionofindependentlearningand 2 <0.05). Third, there was significant contribution of reinforcement and independentlearningto ofIAINPadangsidimpuan.
