Abstract

Management generally aims to handle organizational functions so that they can run effectively and efficiently. This study aims to determine the Production Management of Radio Istakalisa 96.2 FM in Packaging the Kalisa News Update (Kanu) Program. The type of method in this research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The theory used in this study is the POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, and Controlling) Management theory. The data collection techniques used are observation, interview and documentation techniques. The research was conducted from July to September 2020. The key informants of this study were the Program Director and additional informants from Istakalisa Radio Reporter and Script Writter. The results of this study indicate the Production Management of Istakalisa Radio including: First Planning, Organizing, Actuating, and Controlling. However, the radio organizing indicator was less effective in implementing the division of tasks in the division. After broadcasters should have tapped, the production team should have edited it, cut it into a broadcast news.
