Abstract
ABSTRACK Rodesma, (2020): An Analysis of Students’ Ability in Using Simple Present Tense at SMP AL-Hikmah Rokan Hulu The aim of this study is to analyse the students’ ability in using simple present tense at smp al-hikmah rokan hulu. The sample of this study is 25 students. The researcher used total sampling to collect the sample. The object of this study is the students’ ability in using simple present tense in verbal and nominal sentence. The researcher used test to collect the data and the form of the test is true or false questions. After analysing the data the researcher find that the students’ mean score in using verbal sentence are 66,4 and students’ mean score in using nominal sentence are 64,4. It can be conclude that students’ ability in using verbal sentence is better than the students’ ability in using nominal sentence. Keywords: Analysis, Simple Present Tense.
