Abstract
The purpose of this research is to know the effect of using Thinking Inductive Learning Model Towards Student’s Achievement in Math by The Second Year Students of Junior High School 31 Pekanbaru. In this research, the formulation of the problem is, “Is there any significant effect of using Thinking Inductive Learning Model Towards Student’s Achievement in Math by The Second Year Students of Junior High School 31 Pekanbaru?” The Method of this research is Quasi Experiment, the researcher roles as the teacher in learning process. The subject of the research was the second year students of Junior High School 31 Pekanbaru (96 students), consists of two classes; class VIII. 1 and Class VIII.3 that the homogenity has been tested by using Bartlett Test. And the object of this research is the effect of using thinking inductive learning model towards student’s achievement in math. The data collecting in this research used Observation, documentation, and test which was done every meeting. In this research, there was six meeting, five meetings used thinking inductive learning model, and one meeting for post-test. To see the result of the research, used Liliefors test to find the data normality, then by using T-test to find whether there is significant effect or not about using thinking inductive learning model towards student’s achievement in learning math. Based on the data analysis result could be taken a conclusion that there is significant effect of using thinking inductive learning model towards student’s achievement, it was 30%.
