Abstract

The experimental research was conducted at the Eleventh grade of MA Darel Hikmah Pekanbaru. This research aims to find out the effect of Tiktok Application on students speaking performance in academic year 2024/2025.This research was quasi experiment research. The sample of this research was taken by simple random sampling. It involved 38 students of two class XI. XI HUMANIS 2 as the experimental class using Tiktok Application as a media and control class using Book as a media. The data were obtained by using pretest and posttest. Pretest was given to both classes before the treatment and posttest of both classes were analysis of the research showed that the average students using t-test analysis. Based on data analysis the research showed that the average students posttes in experimental class were 73,04 and control class has average students posttest 64,3. Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. It can be concluded there was significant effect of using Tiktok application on students speaking performance in eleventh grade of MA Darel Hikmah Pekanbaru.
