Abstract

This research aimed at describe the personality of knowledge seekers in the book of Washoya Al Abaa Lil Abnaa work of Syaikh Muhammad Syakir. It was library research because the data or sources used in this research were from library materials—books and other written sources supporting and related to the topic of this research. The technique of collecting data was document review or what is usually called documentation study. The documentation method is a way of searching for data regarding things or variables in the forms of notes, transcripts, books, newspapers, magazines, inscriptions, meeting minutes, agendas, and so on. In collecting data, the author collected, examined, and recorded documents used as sources for collecting research data. The technique of analyzing data was content analysis originating from the exploration results of library data to reveal the meaning, position, relationship between various existing concepts, policies, programs, and events to further determine the benefits, results, or impacts of these things. Based on data analysis, the research findings were obtained on the personality of knowledge seekers in the book of Washoya Al Abaa Lil Abnaa work of Syaikh Muhammad Syakir.
