Abstract

DEVICE DESIGN IOT BASED HOME SECURITY HOME BELL AND ALARM INTEGRATED YURISLA DUPANI VIRGUSTA 11555202642 Date of Final Exam : July 17, 2020 Department of Electrical Engineering Faculty of Science and Technology State Islamic University of Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau Soebrantas St. No. 155 Pekanbaru ‐ Indonesia ABSTRACT Difficulties guests in visiting the homeowner are the reason why door knocker invented for the first time. The courier man often come because of the increasing rate of the online shop, when the home owner is far from the front door, the courier man has to wait for a long time at the front door. The thief mode by pretending to be a guest has happened very often. The Tampan Police have recorded 159 cases of house robbery in the 2014-2018 period.. The device in this thesis is equipped with the IoT system so that homeowners can easily and quickly receiving information in knowing guests or visitors who come. This system uses ESP8266 and ESP32-CAM WiFi as the main microcontroller, PIR sensor as detection of human presence, buttons, buzzer and speaker as a bell system, a magnetic switch and alarms as a security system, and Telegram Bot function to receive the image along with activating and deactivating the overall system. The device was implemented in one respondent's house that was already interviewed. The test results are taken from the data before and during implementation by observing the distance and response data from each component to see how high the success of the device when tested. This system can work optimally if given a good internet network with a response of 10-15 seconds until the notification goes to the Bot Telegram.
