Abstract

ABSTRACT Zainuddin Tanjung (2019) : A Study on Students’ Ability in Using Quantifiers at MTs Dinul Hasanah Bagan Batu. The purpose of this research is to describe the students’ ability in using quantifier at eighth grade students at MTs Dinul Hasanah Bagan Batu. This research was descriptive quantitative. There were 50 students as population of this research and all of population bacomes the samples of this research. In collecting the data, the researcher distributed the test to the respondents to determine students’ ability in using quantifier, which consisted of 50 items that was constructed based on the indicators of quantifier by Peter Herring. The writer used descriptive statistic to analyze the data. The result of this research showed that the mean score of students’ ability in using quantifier at eighth grade of MTs Dinul Hasanah Bagan Batu is 67.28. In conclusion, the category of students’ ability in using quantifier at eighth grade students MTs Dinul Hasanah Bagan Batu was at good level. Key word: Ability, Quantifier
