Abstract
Based on the preliminary research, it was found that students of class VIII at Islamic Junior High School Terpadu Al-Fityah Pekanbaru was difficult to understand what they listen from the teacher and audio from the teacher in English class. Some students did not pay attention seriously what they listen. This Research was conducted at Islamic Junior High School Terpadu Al Fityah Pekanbaru. There were two variables in this research namely students’ listening habit (X Variable) and Students’ listening Comprehension (Y Variable). The Subject in this research was the VIII grade of students at Islamic Junior High School Terpadu Al-Fityah Pekanbaru while the object of this research was the correlation between students’ listening habit and their listening comprehension at Islamic Junior High School Terpadu Al-Fityah Pekanbaru. Based on the data analysis result, it was found that there was a significant correlation between students listening habit and their listening Comprehension at Islamic Junior High School Al-Fityah Pekanbaru
