Abstract
Semi Self mixing is how to mix or formulated various feed ingredients by mixing the selected feed ingredients into feed. This technique uses the ratio of feed ingredients 50-55% corn, 30-35% concentrate and 15-20% bran or fine bran. This study aims to determine the production of eggs in hen day production, hen housed production and egg mass laying hen fed semi self mixing in terms of energy and protein content in Bunda Farm Batusangkar. Types and sources of data in this study were primary data obtained by collecting research data including egg production data (eggs), hen housed production and egg mass, and secondary data used as supporting data obtained from certain sources such as breeders, agencies and related agencies, data from various libraries, and other supporting data. The parameters in this study were hen day production, hen housed production and egg mass (g/egg/head). The data collected in this study were processed and analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis showing the number, mean, standard deviation and coefficient of diversity. The results of this study indicated that laying hen that fed semi self mixing contain metabolism energy about 2712,40 Kkal/kg and crude protein about 15,66%. Nutritional content of this feed in accordance with the nutritional needs of laying hen in laying period. Production of laying hen at the age of 39-42 weeks, in 4 weeks of research for hen day around 2001,29-2061,43 egg/week, hen housed about 89,14- 91,47%/week and egg mass about 54,85-62,80 g/egg/day. The conclusion of this research is semi self mixing feed can be given to laying hen in laying period.
