Abstract

The objective of study was to find out effect of learning economy toward character value of responsibility for students at Madrasah Aliyah Dareal Hikmah Pekanbaru. The subject of study was tenth year students and the object of study was the effect of learning economy toward character value of responsibility for students. The population of study was tenth year students of IPS numbering 59 persons. The techniques used in collecting data was observation, documentation, questionnaire and test. The data which have been collected was suitable to the kind of study it was the study with two variables bot were learning economy of needs and character value of responsibility for students. The data was analyzed using simple linier regress with SPSS verse 16.0 for windows. The results of study indicated that there was significant effect between learning economy and character value of responsibility for students at Madrasah Aliyah Dareal Hikmah Pekanbaru. From the result, it was found that the score of r observation was 0.520 higher than r table at significant level of 5% it was 0.250 at significant level of 1% it was 0.325. The number of effect of learning economy in needs material toward character value of responsibility for students was 27% and the rest was influenced by other variable.
