This article aims to describe the existence of the Olang-olang Dance as a social and cultural behavior as well as local wisdom of the Sakai people. Life which is classified as traditional produces a lot of local cultural heritage, especially in medicine because the Sakai people whose nomadic lives are very friendly with nature, land and air. Thus they have a way of dealing with various difficulties of life. For example Bomoh is a major leader in treating disease. This type of research is library research with a qualitative method approach that leads to content analysis. The results of the study found that one of the local wisdoms of the Sakai people is the Olang-olang Dance. The Olang-olang Dance is also characteristic of the social and cultural behavior of the Sakai people because the Olang-olang Dance is used for medical processions besides using leaves in traditional medicine. Then the Sakai people also treat diseases by means of the movements that Bomoh makes when treating patients. The Bomoh movement is like a dance known as the Olang-olang Dance. In the medical procession of the Sakai people, Bomoh acts as an intermediary with the spirit ruler by using movements like a flying eagle. The movement of flying birds is accompanied by incantations and that is called the Olang-olang Dance. The Olang-olang Dance is used by Bomoh to communicate with spirits so that humans are not disturbed by evil spirits. This means that the Olang-Olang Dance is an original dance of the Sakai tribe which is held in medicinal rituals because the Sakai people are not familiar with modern medicine as they are now so that traditional creativity is created which is based on belief and functions as a community treatment effort.
