Abstract
FATIMAH AZZAHARA (2021) : KETERAMPILAN GURU MENDAYAGUNAKAN METODE STEAM UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KREATIVITAS ANAK USIA DINI PADA PEMBELAJARAN BERTEMA TANAMAN This research aimed at knowing teacher skill in utilizing STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematic) method in increasing creativity of early childhood on Plant theme learning. The importance to increase children's creativity from an early age constituted a background of this research, and the learning method used was STEAM. STEAM method was an integrated learning method among science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics to develop various aspects of children's development. In utilizing STEAM method to increase children's creativity, teachers might also be creative and really understand how the practice of implementing STEAM method was. It was a library research. The data sources were primary and secondary. Documentation was the technique of collecting data. The technique of analyzing data was content analysis. The research findings showed that teacher skill in utilizing STEAM method played a positive and effective role in increasing the creativity of early childhood. So, it could be concluded that teacher skill in utilizing STEAM method played a positive role in increasing the creativity of early childhood. STEAM method focused more on increasing creativity in the way of thinking. Children became better prepared to solve the problems they encountered more efficient.
