Soebrantas No. 115 Pekanbaru ABSTRACT Water is one of the needs of the local community in RT 1. Water needs are usually used for washing, bathing and so on. Water from a drilled well is pulled up using a water pump. The problem at this time is the lack of electric current flowing in the area so that the use of the pump cannot work optimally. So from this problem the idea for "Technical and Economic Analysis of Solar Water Pumps for the house needs of RT 01 Metro Urban Village, Reteh District. where this technology can produce electrical energy from sunlight through the absorption of photo voltaic modules. With this solar water pump, it can be easier and more efficient in its use. The use of solar panels in 1 day is 5 hours of using panels with a capacity of 300 wp. By producing a PATS design that is effective in meeting the water needs of RT 1 and being able to analyze a technical aspect and calculate an economy in a design. In this study, the only data taken were population data and water needs in RT 1 Keywords : water demand, life cycle cost, PATS design
