Abstract

Palm oil processing produces waste that needs to be handled and reused so that it does not become an environmental burden. Palm oil mill liquid waste and boiler ash are waste from palm oil processing which contain macro nutrients and can increase pH. This study aims to determine the best dose of boiler ash in palm oil mill liquid waste to produce organic fertilizer in accordance with the quality standards for liquid organic fertilizer according to Permentan No.261/2019. This research was conducted at PT Kimia Tirta Utama, Siak Regency and nutrient content analysis at Wiwiadi Bintang Sains Laboratory, Padang City from December 2024 to March 2025. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatment levels consisting of LCPKS and boiler ash with doses of 1 L: 0 g, 1 L: 45 g, 1 L: 50 g, and 1 L: 55 g this treatment was repeated 5 times to obtain 20 experimental units. The results of this study indicate that a dose of 55 g of boiler ash is the best dose that meets the standards for liquid organic fertilizer according to Permentan No. 261/2019 with a pH standard of 4-9, macro nutrients (N+P2O5+K2O) 2%-6%, and minimum organic C of 10%.
