Abstract

Abstract Aba Mart is a convenience store that offers a variety of daily needs products. One of the challenges faced by Aba Mart is the uncertainty regarding the ideal time to promote a product. To overcome this, research was conducted using the Association Rule Mining (ARM) technique. This technique aims to identify the relationship between the time of sale and the type of product purchased, in this analysis the algorithm used is FP-Growth. The data used comes from Point of Sale from March to August 2024. The results of the study showed that the FP-Growth algorithm successfully found the relationship between the time of purchase and the product taken. By testing with a minimum support of 2%, 3%, and 4%, and a minimum confidence of 10%, a total of 15 rules were obtained in March 2024, 11 rules in April 2024, 14 rules in May 2024, 13 rules in June 2024, 11 rules in July 2024, and 13 rules in August 2024 which are expected to be a guide in developing a more optimal promotion strategy.
