Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a significant influence of teachers held a variety of skills to motivate students in the learning process in the Islamic Elementary School District 02 District Tanah Merah Indragiri Hilir. Subjects in this study were teachers and students in the Islamic Elementary School District 02 District Tanah Merah Indragiri Hilir. While that is the object of study is the skill and motivation of teachers held a variety of students in the learning process. While the population in this study are all teachers and students numbering 219 people. This study sampled using stratified random sampling technique, so that the population studied to 84 students (class IIIa and IIIb, class IVa and IVb, Va and Vb class with 14 students representative of each class) and each class teacher 1 person (6 person-grade teacher). Then the collection of data retrieved through observation, questionnaires and documentation. The collected data were analyzed by using contingency correlation coefficient. After conducting the study authors concluded that the influence of teachers' skills have held a variety of significant positive correlation to student motivation in the learning process it can be seen from the results of phi correlation coefficient greater than "r" a good table at significance level of 5% and the 1% significance level ie 0.591%
