Abstract

ABSTRAK ANALYSIS OF THE PRINCIPLES OF GOOD UNIVERSITY GOVERNANCE IN THE GOAL OF INCREASING STUDENT SATISFACTION OF THE FACULTY OF ECONOMICS AND SOCIAL SCIENCES AT UIN SUSKA RIAU By Zulia Halimah NIM. 12070527329 This study aims to analyze the application of Good University Governance (GUG) principles at Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau State Islamic University. This qualitative research employs interviews, observation and documentation to collect data. Informants are selected through purposive sampling technique. Data analysis involves reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing, verified by Wijatno's GUG theory (transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence, and fairness). Results indicate FEIS has made significant strides in transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence, and fairness. Transparency is achieved through academic and administrative information on the website. Accountability is enhanced through regular reporting and performance evaluations. Responsibility is demonstrated through facility improvements. Independence is maintained through internal decision- making processes. Fairness is reflected in transparent assessments and objective scholarship selections. Despite progress, areas for improvement remain, including expanding information access, enhancing facility quality, and monitoring decision-making fairness.
