Abstract
This study aims to determine the role of the actualization of Islamic work ethics and how its implications for the development of Islamic society, especially in the farming community in Sukau, West Lampung, Indonesia. This quantitative study uses primary data sourced from questionnaires with a Likert scale measurement method. The questionnaire was compiled based on the research variables, namely Islamic Work Ethics (X) and Islamic Welfare (Y), which were distributed to 97 respondents. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling. The research test includes validity, reliability, normality, and simple linear regression analysis. The result shows that the Islamic Work Ethic has a significant positive effect on Islamic welfare. It is considered necessary for farmers in the Sukau District to apply in their work. The Sukau farming community in the district of West Lampung has been realizing and actualizing the balance between the world and the hereafter in farming well; in this case, religious commitment is the most dominant.
