Abstract
ABSTRACT THE INFLUENCE OF FINTECH PAYMENT, FINANCIAL INCLUSION, PARENTAL INCOME AND SOCIAL ENVIRONMENT ON STUDENT FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT BEHAVIOR (Case Study on University Students in Pekanbaru City) By: MURNI KUMAYA NIM. 12070124147 Financial Management Behavior is a concept in financial science related to a person's behavior in using or managing the money they have as well as possible for future financial welfare. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Fintech Payment, Financial Inclusion, Parental Income, and Social Environment on Financial Management Behavior on University Students in Pekanbaru City. Management Behavior on University Students in Pekanbaru City. A quantitative approach was used with data collection techniques through questionnaires on students from six universities in Pekanbaru City with a population of 125,810. The research sample was determined as many as 170 students using purposive sampling technique based on Lemeshow's formula. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of IBM SPSS Statistics Ver 26.0 software. Results Partial test results show that Fintech Payment has a significant negative effect on Financial Management Behavior. Financial Inclusion and Social Environment have a positive and significant effect, while Parental Income has no influence on Financial Management Behavior. Simultaneous test shows that Fintech Payment, Financial Inclusion, Parental Income and Social Environment together have a positive and significant effect on Financial Management Behavior on University Students in Pekanbaru City. Overall, the independent variables are able to contribute influence the dependent variable by 37.5% (Adjusted R Square), while the remaining 62.5% is influenced by other variables not included in this study.
