Abstract

This research is a class action (Class Action Reseach). Based on the observation in the Class IV Elementary School District 002 Koto Aman District Tapung Hilir Kampar Regency met some of the symptoms or phenomena in teaching and learning, particularly on the subjects of Islamic Religious Education, which shows the results of learning are low, such as: a) Of the 24 students is only about less than 11 (44%) students are able to answer the questions given when performed daily tests. b) Students lack the courage to answer the questions that the teacher when the learning process. Of the 24 students only 10 people (40%) who had the courage to answer questions during the learning process. c) Students do not want to ask when the teacher gives the opportunity to ask questions about the lessons that have been described. d) In the process of student learning tends mostly silent, only accept material submitted by the teacher, without any questions or provide feedback. The research objective was to determine the level of student learning outcomes on Islamic subjects SDN 002 students in grade IV Koto Aman District Tapung Hilir Kampar Regency by applying the method of training projects. As the subject is the teacher and fourth grade students of SDN 002 Koto Aman District Tapung Hilir Kampar Regency 2010-2011 school year by the number of pupils as many as 24 people. While that is the object of this study is the application of models of practice project to improve learning outcomes Islamic Education students in grade IV Safe SDN 002 Koto Aman District Tapung Hilir Kampar Regency. The research was conducted in two cycles and each cycle of two meetings. These stages are passed in the classroom action research, namely: 1) Planning/preparation of action, 2) Implementation of the action, 3) Observation and Reflection. Data were collected through observation and analyzed by the percentage formula. Can be explained that through the implementation of the project training methods can enhance students' learning outcomes. Prior to the act of learning outcomes of students classified as less with an average of 50%, an increase in cycle I with an average of 70%. While the results of student learning in cycle II also increased by an average of 82% in both categories, it is proved that with the methods projects training can improve learning outcomes fourth grade students of SDN 002 Koto Aman District Tapung Hilir Kampar Regency.
