Abstract

This study was aimed to determine whether there was influence between the economic performances of teachers on student achievement on economic subjects in class XI state senior High School 1 District of GaungAnakSerka Regency of Indragiri Hilir. In this study there were two variables: the variable X (economics teacher performance) and Variable Y (student achievement on economic subjects) population in this study were all students in class XI majoring in social science state senior High School 1 District of GaungAnakSerka regency of Indragiri Hilir which amounts 85 people. To collect data, the authors used the techniques of observation, questionnaires and documentation. The collected data were analyzed with linear regression techniques with the least squares method and the product moment. To analyze the author using SPSS (Statistical Program Society Science) version 16.0 Based on the presentation and analysis of data, it was known for that the degree of influence between the two variables was 0.628. Coefficient of determination (R Square) was 0.394 Economic Contributions of teacher performance on student achievement is equal to 0.394 X 100% = 39.4%. It can be concluded that there was a significant effect between the economic performances of teachers on 'student achievement on economic subjects in class XI state senior High School I District of GaungAnakSerka Regency of Indragiri Hilir.
