Abstract
LTE provides data speeds of up to 100 Mbps on the downlink and up to 50 Mbps on the uplink. Kelayang sub-district is an example of many LTE users, however, because its location is surrounded by dense residential areas, especially in the Peranap and Bongkal areas of Malang. Based on the results of the drive tests carried out, problems were found, namely the quality of throughput, RSRP and SINR which were in very poor condition. Therefore, an optimization simulation is carried out for a network using the Electrical Tilt method. The throughput results on SITE_PERANAP_4G and SITE_BONGKAL_MALANG 4G after optimization increased to 49,000 Kbps. The RSRP parameter results on SITE_PERANAP_4G and SITE_BONGKAL_MALANG 4G after optimization increased to >= -70 dBm and finally the SINR on SITE_PERANAP_4G after optimization with a value of -20 dB increased to 30 dB and on SITE_BONGKAL_MALANG 4G after optimization with a value of -20 dB increased to 20 dB.
