Abstract

This study is only one variable is students' competence in analyzing the adjusting entries in accounting subjects in class XI subjects Social Sciences Senior High School Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru. In accordance with the above title, then the purpose of this study was to determine students' competence in analyzing the adjusting entries in class XI subjects Social Sciences Senior High School Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru. Subjects in this study is the class XI students and teachers of social studies subjects accounting subjects. While the objects in this study is an accounting class in senior high school social studies XI Department of Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru. The population in this study all subjects XI class students as much as 185 IPS. to get the data field, the authors use the techniques of observation, interviews, primary data and secondary data. While the data analysis techniques used in this study is a qualitative descriptive techniques. Based on the authors of the data collected in the field and equipped with the analysis, it can be concluded that the competence of a class XI student majoring in social studies subjects in Senior high school Muhammadiyah Pekanbaru accounting poorly categorized by percentage of 35.83% for this range from 0% -60%
