Abstract

ABSTRACT Lutfi Kholishotul Munawaroh, (2023): The Effect of Using Digital Storytelling on Students’ Speaking Skill at the Eighth Grade of Junior High School 5 Logas Tanah Darat Kuantan Singingi This research aimed to know whether there is a significant effect of using digital storytelling toward students’ speaking skill at Junior High School 5 Logas Tanah Darat Kuantan Singingi. The design of this research is pre-experimental design. The researcher took 23 students as the sample. In collecting the data, the researcher used pre-test and post-test to find out the students’ speaking skill. The technique of analyzing the data was paired sample T-test through SPSS 29 version. The researcher found that sig (2 tailed) was <0.000 means that less than 0.05. It means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. In other words, there is a significant effect in students’ speaking skill between before and after being taught by using digital storytelling at the eighth grade students of Junior High School 5 Logas Tanah Darat Kuantan Singingi.
