Abstract

MURNI FADHILAH (2023) : THE STUDENTS’ PERCEPTION TOWARD ONLINE LEARNING AT STATE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL 2 BANGKINANG KOTA Lesson study is very essential in improving teaching and learning processes because lesson study provides a lot of opportunities for teachers to improve their teaching practice. Having been implemented for more than a decade in Indonesian classrooms, lesson study is currently recognized as a means to improve teaching practices. This research was diverges from decision implemented by the government during the Covid-19 pandemic that the learning process was carried out online. The students and teachers conducted the learning at their homes an online. This study aims to determine students’ perception of online learning. The research method is a quantitative descriptive method where the data analysis using SPSS version 23 and Microsoft Excel. This research conducted on January until March at state senior high school 2 Bangkinang Kota. Data collection was carried out using questionnaire to determine students’ perception of online learning. Questionnaires were distributed to 32 students in 2022/2023 school year as a sample. Determination of this sample is done by convenience sampling technique. The findings revealed that the students’ perception toward online learning is neutral. Based on the referring to data analysis, the researcher concluded that the students’ perceptions toward online learning is neutral with score 62,69%.
