Abstract

The objective of this study was to explore the implementation of critical thinking, communication, collaboration and creativity skills in lesson plan and to find out the teachers practice critical thinking, communication, collaboration and creativity skills in teaching English process. This study was conducted under the qualitative case study design. This study took the data in SMK YAPIM Siak Hulu and there are two English teachers as the participants of this study. The data were collected from the observation, interview and documents. The data were analyzed and interpreted through qualitative procedures. The findings of the study showed that (1) all indicators of 4C’s skill are not fully implemented in all lesson plans. Before designing the lesson plans which implemented all the indicators of 4C’s skills, the teachers should be more pay attention to the all indicators of 4C’s skills. (2) The teacher have implemented almost all sub-aspects of communication skills in a series of learning activities in class. The teachers are good in implementation of 4C skills in the learning process including critical thinking, collaboration, creativity and innovation, and communication.
