Abstract

NITYA HENESTA RAMADHONIS (2022) : HUBUNGAN KEBERSYUKURAN DENGAN SELF COMPASSION PADA MAHASISWA DI MASA PANDEMI COVID-19 The Covid-19 pandemic has had a lot of impact on students, one of which is the change in the from face to face to online learning system. As a result many problems arise in students so that self compassion is needed to overcome these problems. Predicted gratitude can help students to develop self compassion. This study aims to determine the relationship between gratitude and self compassion in students during the Covid-19. The sample in this study amounted to 266 students of the Psychology Faculty of UIN SUSKA Riau with the sampling technique using stratified random sampling. Data collection methods in this study used the GQ-6 gratitude scale (McCullough, 2002) and the self compassion scale (Neff, 2003). Based on the results of the product moment correlation analysis obtained a correlation value of 0,550 with a significance of 0,000 which indicates that the hypothesis in this study is accepted. It means, there is a relationship of gratitude with self compassion for students during the Covid-19 pandemic. Keywords: gratitude; self compassion; covid-19 pandemic; college student
