Abstract

TENGKU REZKI DESWARTA (2021) HUBUNGAN ANTARA PSYCHOLOGICAL CAPITAL DENGAN ORGANIZATIONAL CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIOR PADA PEGAWAI SATUAN POLISI PAMONG PRAJA PASIR PANGARAIAN Organizational citizenship behavior can be defined as an employee's work behavior within the agency, which is carried out on a voluntary basis outside the main duties and functions that have been set, with the aim of increasing the progress of the agency's performance. One of the factors that can influence organizational citizenship behavior is psychological capital. This study aims to determine the relationship between psychological capital and organizational citizenship behavior in the Civil Service Police Unit employees of Pasir Pangaraian. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a relationship between psychological capital and organizational citizenship behavior in the employees of the Pasir Pangaraian Civil Service Police Unit. The sample of the research was the employees of the Pasir Pangaraian Civil Service Police Unit as many as 98 employees using simple random sampling technique. The data of this study were obtained using the psychological capital scale of Luthans et al., (2007) and the organizational citizenship behavior scale of Organ (2006). The results showed that there was a positive relationship between psychological capital and organizational citizenship behavior with a correlation value of 0.463 and a significant value of 0.000 (p <0.01). It can be concluded that the hypothesis proposed in this study is accepted. This research is expected to be useful in providing information for the development of psychology, especially in the field of industrial and organizational psychology related to psychological capital and organizational citizenship behavior.
