Abstract

ABSTRACT Miftahussahilah (2022) : The Analysis of Students’ Self Efficacy in English Learning at State Madrasah Aliyah 1 Bengkalis This research aims to describe how students’ self efficacy was in English language learning at State Madrasah Aliyah 1 Bengkalis. The design of this research was descriptive quantitative method and the researcher used Microsoft Excel and SPSS 22.0 to analyze the data. The research samples were 103 students consisted of 8 classes selected randomly. The data in this research were obtained from questionnaire distributed to grade XI students of State Madrasah Aliyah 1 Bengkalis. From the data analysis, the result shows that most of students (64.07%) were categorized into medium level of self efficacy in English language learning. Some of them (10.69%) students were at the highest level of self efficacy in English language learning and (25.24%) students were in low level of self efficacy in English language learning. Based on the research results then it can be concluded that students’ self efficacy at State Madrasah Aliyah 1 Bengkalis is in medium category.
