The hypothesis of this research is “there is a significant negative correlation between students’ foreign language anxiety and their speaking ability”. The data were analyzed by using the Pearson Product Moment Correlation coefficient through SPSS 25.0. The result of this research showed that sig. (2-tailed) the value was 0.000. It can be stated that 0.000 < 0.05. It means that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, while the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. The value of the correlation coefficient (r) was -0.625.
