Abstract

ABDEL HAQSAH (2021) : PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN VISUALIZATION AUDITORY KINESTHETIC (VAK) TERHADAP AKTIVITAS BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN EKONOMI DI SMA NEGERI 1 XIII KOTO KAMPAR KABUPATEN KAMPAR This research aimed at knowing student learning activities on Economics subject and the effect of implementing Visualization Auditory Kinesthetic (VAK) learning model toward student learning activities. Students who could not answer when the teacher asked questions, who did not do the assignments given by the teacher, who did not dare to respond during the learning process, who did not use textbook as a learning resource during the learning process, and who did not use the library as another learning resource constituted a background of this research. It was a quasi-experimental research with nonequivalent group design. All of the tenth-grade students at State Senior High School 1 XII Koto Kampar in the Academic Year of 2020/2021 were the population of this research, and they were 59 students. 2 classes were selected as samples—the tenth-grade students of Social Science 2 as the control group, and the students of Social Science 1 as the experimental group taught by using VAK learning model. Observation, documentation, and test were the techniques of collecting data. The technique of analyzing data was t-test. Based on t-test analysis of student learning activity of experimental and control groups, tobserved was higher than ttable at 5% (1.672) and 1% (2.660) significant levels, 1.672<18.193>2.394, so Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected. It meant that there was a significant effect of implementing VAK learning model toward student learning activities on Economics subject at State Senior High School 1 XII Koto Kampar.
