Abstract
This research is aimed to know the effect use of lecture method that inserted humor toward student motivation in Fiqh learning at State Islamic Junior High School Dumai. In this research formulation of problem is " there is the effect use of lecture method that inserted humor toward student motivation in Fiqh learning at State Islamic Junior High School Dumai?". Subjects in this research were teachers of Fiqh and students of class VII, while the object of research is use of lecture method that inserted humor toward student motivation in Fiqh learning. This type of research is seen from the method was experimental research, seen from the form experimental design, this research fall into the category of pre-experimental design section one group pretest-posttest design. Population in this research consists of nine (9) class, while the sample is only 1 (one) class with withdrawal Cluster Sample randomly selected. Data collection techniques such as observation, questionnaires and documentation, whereas writer to analyze the data using the formula of test "t". Based on results of these data analysis, it is concluded that there is positive and significant effect between lecture method that inserted humor and motivation in Fiqh learning at State Islamic Junior High School Dumai Where t-count equal to 6.993 is smaller than t table at level of 5% and greater than t table at level of 1% (2.03 <6.993> 2.72).
