Abstract

This research aimed at knowing whether there was or not the difference between students mathematic connection ability learned by using Improve learning model based on internet online and students learned by conventional learning (discovery) based on internet online. This research was an experimental research using quasi-experimental design. The populations of this research were all VIII grade students at state junior high school 25 Pekanbaru. The samples of this research were 20 students from VIII-7 and 20 students from VIII-8 and Purposive sampling was used. Test such Pretest and posttest were used for knowing the mathematic connection ability and observation technique was the monitoring feedback that was resulted from treatment by remote observation through the internet online. T-test was used for analyzing the data. Based on data analysis, it could be concluded that 1) the difference between students mathematic connection ability learned by using Improve learning model based on internet online and students learned by conventional learning (discovery) based on internet online, 2) There was the big effect size from implementing improve learning model based on Internet online to student mathematic connection ability at junior high school.
