Abstract

ABSTRAK Indonesia Lawyers Club Program (ILC) is a talkshow program packaged interactively to provide legal and political learning for its viewers. It presents key and competent speakers from academics, renowned experts, students and related government officials. The topics discussed are actual. Each episodes has different topic discussing an issue from various perspectives. The objective of this study is to know the effect of the Indonesia Lawyers Club program on Political Knowledge of Students in the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at the University of Riau. Using the SPSS validity and reliability test, this thesis finds that a small portion or 3.56% respondents strongly disagree with the Indonesia Lawyers Club show. However, the majority of respondents about 43.18% state that the Indonesia Lawyers Club program was classified as a program that could improve the political knowledge of the students of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Riau.
