Abstract

ABSTRACT Ellyn Suryaningsih, (2019): An Analysis On Students Ability in using Personal Pronoun in Writing Paragraph at Sport Senior High School of Riau Province The aim of the research is to analyze the tenth grade students’ ability in using personal pronouns in writing paragraph at Sport Senior High School of Riau Province. This study was a descriptive research. There were 64 students as samples by using total sampling technique, while the object of this research was students’ ability in using personal pronouns in writing paragraph. In collecting the data, the researcher used test to the respondents to assess the students’ ability in using personal pronouns in writing paragraph. Based on data analysis, the researcher found that the mean score of students’ ability in using “Subject Pronoun” was 79,25. The students’ ability in using “Object Pronoun” was 80,86. The students’ ability in using “Posessive Adjective” was 79,25. The students’ ability in using “Posessive Pronoun was 62,00. The students’ ability in using “Reflexive Pronoun” was 61,20. It can be concluded that the students’ ability in using “subject pronoun” was good, the students’ ability in using “object pronoun” was very good, the students’ ability in using “posessive adjective was good, the studens’ ability in using “posessive pronoun” was enough, and the students’ ability in using “reflexive pronoun” was enough.
