Abstract
This research was done from July until October 2010 in the Green Garden Forage in Faculty of Agriculture and Animal science Islamic State University of Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau. The analysis content of nutrition was done in the Chemistry and Nutrient Laboratory of Agriculture and Animal science Faculty in Islamic State University of Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau and Ruminant Nutrition Laboratory of Animal Husbandry in Andalas University Padang of Animal Faculty. The purpose of this research is want to know about production consist of, fresh weight, dry weight and sprout amount, to know the nutrition consisted of dry material (DM), crude fiber (CF), crude protein (CP), and crude fat (CF) from the grass setaria which given manure fertilizer dosage of different goat feces to the first cutting. The method in this research was experiment research with group random design (GRD) to 3 groops and 3 treatments. The result of this experiment shows that any effect from the treatment can increase the production fresh weight, dry weight and setaria grass sapling (P<0.01) the nutrition of setaria from it cannot increase crude protein (CP) and decrease the crude fat (CF) (P>0.05) but can decrease crude fiber (CF) and dry matter (DM) (P<0.01).
