Abstract

INTISARI Kacang tanah merupakan salah satu jenis kacang-kacangan yang banyak dibudidayakan. Kacang tanah mengandung nutrisi tinggi untuk memenuhi gizi masyarakat. Salah satu cara meningkatkan produksi kacang tanah adalah pemberian pupuk kascing. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk kascing terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kacang tanah. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada September sampai Desember 2018 di Lahan Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Dan Peternakan Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 5 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Parameter yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, umur berbunga, jumlah cabang primer, jumlah polong pertanaman, jumlah biji perpolong. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian pupuk kascing berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah polong pertanaman dan jumlah biji perpolong. Terdapat dosis terbaik pada pemberian pupuk kascing yaitu 490 g/tanaman. Kata kunci : Kacang tanah, pupuk kascing, pupuk organik. ABSTRACT Peanut is the one of Legumes family which is consumted by peoples. It have high nutrition value to a people nutritions. Peanut production is on the second level after soybean. One way to increase peanut production is giving vermivompost. The research objective was to determine the effect of vermicompost fertilizer on the growth and yield of peanut plants. The study was conducted in September to December 2018 in the Experimental Field of the Faculty of Agriculture and Animals Saince of the State Islamic University of Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau. This study uses a completely randomized design with 5 treatments and 5 replications. The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, age of flowering, number of primary branches, number of plant pods, number of grains of seeds. The results showed that the application of kascing fertilizer had a very significant effect on the parameters of plant height, number of leaves, number of pods and number of grains. There is the best dose for giving vermicompost which is 490 g / plant. Keywords: Peanuts, vermicompost, organic fertilizer.
