Abstract

Bali cattle have been made livestock which dominated and spread whole Indonesia, because Bali cattle easy to adapt and have ability in high productivity. Spermatozoa Bali cattle exploiting for the thinning can multiply cement volume so that enable do artivicial insemination (AI) to female cattle more amount in one ejaculation. The purposed of this research is to know motility and mortality storey of Bali cattle spermatozoa that thinned by yolk. The material that used in this research is cement that come from BIBD Tuah Sakato, this research used experimental method with Complete Random Device (CRD) which consist of 5 treatment and 4 restating ( A(Control)=BIB(Tris), B=1ml yolk, C=2ml Yolk, D=3ml yolk, E= 4ml yolk). Mean of spermatozoa motility from result of this research show 70%, 10.5%, 6.5%, 3.5%, 1.5% while mortality is 26%, 85%, 91%, 95%, and 97.5%, it’s shows the more greater thinning enhanced, the more lower motility level. The use of one yolk as a thinner can not improve motility and descend spermatozoa mortality. Key words: Bali cattle, spermatozoa, evaluation, dilution, yolk.
