Abstract
Eye disease is one disease that is dangerous in Indonesia for example is a cataract is an eye disease causing blindness.. Many people lost their life and job loss in the productive age because this blindness disease. It was caused by lack of knowledge public about the importance of maintaining health and untrained medically so, when experiencing symptoms of the disease are not necessarily able to understand how to resolved . It is unfortunate when the actual symptoms can be handled earlier into a more serious disease due to a lack of knowledge about the disease. Based on that, established decision support system used to diagnose eye diseases by using approach naïve bayes methods. Naïve bayes method is used to calculate the value of the probability people with eye diseases. The value of this probability is used to diagnose eye disease results based on the value of the largest probability. First, user input the perceived symptoms data then system performs calculations using the method of diagnosis naïve bayes. The resulting Output is the name of the illness as well as providing information and solutions to the prevention or the treatment further.. The system is designed using web-based programming languages. From the results of testing of the system by an expert, the given results similar to system testing experts amounted to 82%.
